Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Data stored on your device

Your saved time zones, working hours, theme, and other preferences are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you sign in (see below) or use the share-link feature, which encodes your selected time zones directly in the URL you choose to share.

Optional account data

Signing in is optional. If you sign in, we use Clerk to handle authentication and store your account details (such as your email address). Your list of saved time zones and any per-timezone working-hours overrides are synced to your account so they follow you across devices — your device-only settings (theme, time format, and your default working hours) are not synced.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate usage and performance. These collect anonymized, non-identifying data (such as page views and load times) and do not use tracking cookies.

Third parties

Time Tales is hosted on Vercel and uses Clerk for authentication. Each has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes on our behalf.

Your controls

You can clear your local data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for Time Tales, and you can delete your account (and its synced data) from your account settings if you've signed in.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
